More Videos!

Alrighty, I finally got around to sitting down for the 3 hours to do the editing on the footage that I had, and now here we have it, the vids that I produced. I can't recall anything important that I really needed to talk about for any of the days that we did in the vids (like, any questions I needed to talk about for the fitness days), but if I missed something or you have any questions, feel free to leave a comment, I'll be sure to answer you whenever I get the chance. Which may be 5 minutes after you post or never. So ya, Thats all from me for tonight, hope ya'll had a good day, thank you for watching the videos.

  1. I love your videos. I also don't believe you… you do care more than your mark. It is obvious because your sense of humour comes through in the videos, as does your effort/interaction with peers. You share some of you passions (like cadets and birds) and that is when your voice is "authentic". The parts where you save face in front of people or even just yourself by saying you don't care is clearly put on. You may not even realize you do it. Every time something is potentially hard, or different (so not easily mastered perhaps) or deemed "uncool" by someone you pretend it doesn't matter. It is common strategy actually but manifests uniquely in you because you find school so easy (it looks different when those who struggle in school use it). You didn't have to do funny video edits where you get hit in the crotch and make fun of yourself in writing over the video (no one else did) … you could have done a few short paragraphs (easy) instead of duct taping your camera to yourself (loved that part). In fact, you are smart enough to know that the whole of PE (indeed any class really) is not that important in the grand scheme of things. You can attend university if so desired) with a poor mark in PE 10. So why did you take the time to video so many times? Why did you edit them together with humour in mind, why did you complete the blog at all? I think you have a persona that is working for you right now (and that's fine) but under the "smart and don't care" exterior is a really funny, awesome, driven kid who just like everyone else… trying to figure out what it all means in the end. As I wrote earlier… you are worth your own time. being smart is cool and learning stuff (having the love of learning) will keep life interesting till the end of your days. Like your bird thing that others may not get… be willing to explore and experience other people's passions. I can't remember who said it (I think Leonardo Da Vinci) but there is a quote about the secret of happiness being a perpetually curious mind. Forgive yourself for not being perfect at everything the first time… the joy is in working it out eventually anyway.
