This is the end of the year post, meaning that this is what the entire year comes down to; Did I pass or NOT???
This post, and every other post, is based on what I think, and if I am wrong in what my opinion is, then I pretty much fail XD.
Also, if I failed in any of the four mandatory pillars...Fail. So let's get to it.
The first of the four pillars is participation. Participation for P.E is defined as being a team leader, helping during games, wearing P.E strip, etc... My thoughts on this? I feel that I was a team leader, I helped with game set up and tear down, I was on time for the classes, I put effort into Fitness days as best as I could, although there were a few fitness days where I probably could have tried harder... In most of the games we played, I did well. "Missing “sometimes” or having “no strip” more than once or twice should result in a failing mark here."~ Quote from Mr.Neuf's blog.
By the above standard, I would fail this pillar. I don't remember forgetting my strip more than twice, but on the chance that i have forgotten my strip three times, I am just going to say that I failed. Makes it easier than sitting down and trying to remember each individual day. I feel that it is more likely that I have forgotten my strip at least three times than not. In fact, I'm certain that I have forgotten my strip maybe four times.
The next pillar is " Social Responsibility and Contribution to the Class". This pillar includes; examples of leadership (organizing others, encouraging peers), examples of initiative (helping with equipment, helping with other classes WITHOUT being asked to), positive energy and social dynamic during activities, honesty during competition and on fitness scores, and connections with the community/volunteering. If this is what I had to do, I might have passed this section, but we'll see as we get deeper into this. I (as stated in the paragraph above) have helped organize choice day games, I try to encourage others during these games, whether they are on my team or not, I also encouraged others during fitness days to "keep going" or "You're doing great, just a bit farther". With Travis, a student from Mr.Pederson's class, if I passed him I would yell "Axious!!!" which if I remember correctly, is latin from "Halo 4: Forward unto dawn", which meant "I am worthy". me and Travis were weird like that, but this did motivate both of us to keep running around the pond one particular fitness day.
Back on track, I tried to have a positive energy during activities, but I do recall one fitness day around the pond again where I was in a bad mood. Wasn't positive then. I am honest with my fitness day scores, but I have never blogged them, because I have/had no way to record them.
I also cleaned up after outside days, so mark that down too :D.
"Needing reminders from a teacher to do the above items negates their impact… thus resulting in a failing grade here. If you need to talked to, you didn’t do well."~ Quote from Mr.Neuf's blog.
Throughout the course of the year, Mr.Neuf, or any other teachers, did not need to talk to me about my attitude, or anything else. I might have on occasion been asked to help set up a class, but that shouldn't mean that I fail. By the above pillar standards, I feel that I passed this pillar.
On with the next pillar; Healthy living. "This category includes all aspects of your past, current, and future data and goals on your health and fitness." Truthfully, I don't overly care about my fitness outside of school. Some of the teachers (actually, if I think on this, ALL the teachers) care more about my life outside of school and the choices I make about what I eat than I do. It's kinda annoying, really. My fitness scores tell me that I'm not eating enough food (True story, I eat next to nothing), and that I should be drinking more water if I'm getting an unbearable cramp at 5.6 on the beep test. My barriers in participating? None, aside from the ones my mind sets on myself because I dislike one activity or another. Since I have no posts from ANYTHING outside of school, nothing about what mountains have you climbed lately (I climbed mt.Si last Saturday, but I didn't make a post on it, so who cares?) or what did you eat for breakfast during the entire year??? OK, seriously, what kind of a question is that? That's...stalker-ish. I don't care about what I ate for breakfast, I eat cereal. Because I'm hungry. Not because it's healthy.
So, because I have no posts on my life outside of fitness, I fail this section.
Digital Portfolio and Reflective skills: this category includes all aspects of your blog posts. I had practically NO posts whatsoever throughout the course of the year. I don't even need to go through what "requirements" there are for me to have passed this pillar (But if you really care, find them here > http://teacherneufs.blogspot.ca/ )
So, I have a big announcement, you ready...? I DON'T HAVE A PHONE, OR ANY OTHER SORT OF RECORDING DEVICE! I don't know anyone else in the class well enough to ask them to take pictures of me, or to record me, I'm not "friends" in the class with anyone. What was I supposed to do for this? I don't have evidence of exercising outside of the school. I shouldn't have to have evidence. Is my bike in the bike stall not enough? So, ya, I failed this pillar too.
So, overall, since I'm failing in 3 of the pillars, I'm going to say C-. Just because I don't think that i should be graded on my ability to type. I pass. That's what I think. I'm entitled to my opinion, but the real grade comes on the report card. So, I guess I'll find out when the mailman drops it of, or I have to pick it up. Either way, we (I) find out then.
Thanks for reading my rant guys, Hope ya'll enjoyed it, lol. "Please remember to like comment and subscribe and I'll see you guys next time, ba bye" ~ King Kalshiba's ending quote from his Minecraft videos.

Semester end, new blog start
Over the course of the first semester, i feel that i tried really hard, but couldve tried harder. My goal to be stronger by the end of the year, i feel, hasn't had any steps taken toward it. I heard a quote from some video or another, and it really inspired me. The quote was a journalist talking to a marshal artist, and the journalist asked "how many push-ups do you do?" The marshal artist replied "I don't count how many push-ups i do. I start counting when it starts hurting." This inspired me because it says that improvment only comes when you go beyond your limit(i'll have the video link below.).
If i had to grade myself, and i do, i would have to say that probably got about a B.

25 minute run
ARG! That was horrid! the 25 minute run was... difficult...
All things considered, i feel that i pushed myself too hard in the start, and as such, couldn't keep a pace later on. My first lap was a 3:30 minute quick run around the field, my second lap about 4:30, and my third lap 5:30. After my third lap, I found my proper pace, getting an average of 4:30 for the next three laps.
not too too shabby, but i feel that i could have done better. My biggest challenge is to find a pace and be able to keep it for the 25 minutes.

fitness days
fitness days... the worst... but, imprvoment is vital, heathly for the spirit. :)
Weight Room Goals: By the end of the year, I want to be stronger... Physically stronger. Call me weak, i do it myself, but by the end of the year, i want to be able to lift a 15 pound weight 10 times without breaking a sweat. Pathetic... maybe....okay, yeah, kinda... don't judge me.
Overall fitness: I think that i will sum up my fitness by my beep test scores... currently, my beep test score is 7.6, which is actually saddening for me. 7.6 is below average, for me. Last year, my best was 10.9. By the end of the year, I want to beat that score, at least once. My average (what I want it to be this year) should be 9-9.5.
That is all, BBL
